My old nifty fity F1.8 from Canon, Sigma and Tamron lenses always had image quality problems when fully opened which doesn't happen on this RF 24-105mm. The range of the 24-105 focal length is very convenient too as you don't have to get very close to the subject and you also have the option to go relatively wide indoors or when shooting bfs0.
