If you fly to Billund you literally land on a former company airport that was build/owned by LEGO. I guess because when people are talking about the original Legoland, they just say "Legoland". Sorta like "London, Ontario" and just "London". I just spent my first week working on their networks, I feel ya!

The distance between Copenhagen and Legoland is pretty large, with Copenhagen being pretty much as far east as you can get in Denmark. The official distance is 265 kilometres, equivalent to 165 miles. So unfortunately Legoland isn’t exactly on Copenhagen’s doorstep.
Legoland Theme Park Denmark, Billund was opened in 1968, allowing people to experience Lego as part of a theme park. There are now a variety of Legoland Parks around the world, but Legoland Billund Resort was the original Legoland Park. Legoland Windsor has quite a few similarities, but each Legoland Park has different rides!

He thought most of them were too boring and too slow. My dream also came true, being 30 and all, and I enjoyed the whole park. Our absolute favorite was the Polar Pilot school!
